Description: Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest and the Illinois State Board of Education are partnering to offer a workshop on research-driven best practices for conducting KIDS observations. Designed for kindergarten teachers and administrators, this workshop focuses on practical strategies, tools, and resources on conducting and incorporating KIDS observations into daily instruction. The goal of the workshop is to help teachers and administrators (1) learn how to incorporate observations into daily instruction; (2) deepen knowledge of KIDS and developmental observations; (3) receive strategies on collecting meaningful, high-quality KIDS evidence to drive instruction; and (4) practice KIDS observations using examples.

Audience: This training is intended for kindergarten teachers and administrators.
